Garden Tuesday -- Lillies and Tomatoes

I'm linking up with Garden Tuesday at Sidewalk Shoes!

With the sun finally shining and temps getting warm, my backyard lilies are blooming.  I never know what color the blooms will be.  This year they're burgundy with orange inside.  Beautiful.

Here's a closeup of the biggest bloom.  The pistils are growing up, not out.  Interesting.

And my Topsy Turvy has an itty bitty tomato!  It's about 3/4" inch, and I can't wait to enjoy that one.  I'm starting to signs of more, too.

Share your garden pics and enjoy the others at  Garden Tuesday.

  2. Yay for the green tomato and signs of more!! Isn't it great to eat fresh tomatoes from your... ummm.. porch, in your case! hehehe...

Lovely lilly's too! I need to get some of those planted on the side of the house. They seem to be pretty low maintenance but abundant in color.

    Take care!

  5. Glad your tomatoes are working out in the topsy turvy planter. Our tomatoes took a hit when we had that major wind storm a couple Mondays ago! Took off the top half of two of my plants!

Your lilies are very pretty. Mine are bright orange and SUPER tall this year! Maybe because of the strange weather we've had so far?!
