Last Sunday we went to Lauritzen Gardens, Omaha's botanical gardens, to get out and enjoy the fresh air, and to see the gardens in winter. The poinsettia displays were fabulous. Remember: Lauritzen Gardens graciously offers FREE admission on Sundays through the end of the year! Here are some pics of our visit.
The Omaha railroad display is usually outdoors, among the gardens, but they bring it in during the harsh winters. They installed it among the poinsettias, and it is lovely.
We walked over to the Japanese garden to see what that looks like in winter. Wow! The top of the entry gate is awesome in snow.
Thanks to DH for the great pics. By the way, if you were there and saw a very thin Santa walking around, that was us.
